HBO has announced a June 26 premiere date for Westworld Season 4. CoSA VFX is proud to be part of the VFX teams for the highly anticipated eight-episode fourth season, which will also be available to stream on HBO Max.
The logline for Season 4 describes it as “a dark odyssey about the fate of sentient life on earth,” and returning cast includes Evan Rachel Wood, Emmy winner Thandiwe Newton, Ed Harris, Jeffrey Wright, Tessa Thompson, Luke Hemsworth, Aaron Paul and Angela Sarafyan. James Marsden, who starred in the earlier seasons of the HBO series, has also been announced as returning, and West Side Story standout/Oscar winner Ariana DeBose is in the cast as a recurring guest star this season.
Westworld was created for television by Jonathan Nolan & Lisa Joy, who are executive producers with Alison Schapker, Denise Thé, J.J. Abrams, Athena Wickham, Richard J. Lewis, and Ben Stephenson. The show is produced by Kilter Films and Bad Robot Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television; based on the film written by Michael Crichton.
