A premiere date has been announced for A League of Their Own which will be headed our way Friday, August 12 in over 240 countries and territories on Prime Video. From Amazon Studios and Sony Pictures Television, A League of Their Own is an eight-episode series which evokes the joyful spirit of Penny Marshall’s beloved classic film, while widening the lens to tell the story of an entire generation of women who dreamed of playing professional baseball. CoSA VFX is proud to be one of the main visual effects vendors on the series.
The Prime Video series of A League of Their Own takes a deeper look at race and sexuality, following the journey of a whole new ensemble of characters as they carve their own paths towards the field, both in the league and outside of it, and CoSA is proud to have been the main VFX vendor for the series, which stars Abbi Jacobson, Chanté Adams, D’Arcy Carden, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Roberta Colindrez, Nick Offerman, Saidah Arrika Ekulona, Kate Berlant, Kendall Johnson, Kelly McCormack, Alex Désert, Priscilla Delgado, Aaron Jennings, Molly Ephraim, Melanie Field, Dale Dickey.
