CoSA VFX would like to welcome Astrid Eve as our new Human Resources Generalist working out of our Vancouver studio. Astrid comes to CoSA VFX with a wealth of diverse and international HR experience in many fields, including non-profits, oil and gas, government, and technology.
“CoSA values its people while celebrating their individual contributions, which really aligns with my focus and goals,” Eve says. “My biggest joy is watching people develop professionally, helping them find the resources to support them through life changes and tough times, and coaching managers and staff on their communication techniques to help foster an open, productive, and effective work environment.”
What does she hope to bring to CoSA VFX? “I hope to bring a friendly, supportive, and strategic focus to this new role in the Vancouver office,” she says, pointing out her first impression of the studio that it was full of “fantastic, inclusive, and hard-working” people who “truly love their craft.”
“Their passion for their work and this industry is matched only by their genuine care and support of each other,” she adds.
When not at work, Astrid supports the arts, attending shows, concerts, plays, and performances. She is also an “avid” rugby fan who also does yoga, runs, medieval events, and road trips with her puppies.
We are glad to have Astrid as a part of our team in our quickly growing Vancouver studio as more shows and new projects are coming in from the area and CoSA expands in its second decade of creating and building amazing visual effects.
