With Syfy’s Resident Alien recently premiering, showing our company’s visual effects with a being from outer space coming to Earth, today would be a good time to flash back to a series where we took things in the other direction — out beyond the stars to alien worlds with Netflix’s Another Life.
Another Life is a sci-fi series that premiered in 2019 and a second season is on the way. The show stars Katee Sackhoff of Battlestar Galactica fame, and on the show, the CoSA VFX global studio had the opportunity to build complex space environments, new planets with otherworldly terrains, and spaceships.
Beyond Another Life, we’ve also explored the final frontier with hit shows such as Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., The 100, and The Orville.
All ten episodes from the first season of Another Life are currently available to stream on Netflix if you’re seeking a good weekend binge.
