Last night during the season premiere of American Idol, Chevrolet in partnership with Walt Disney World revealed their new 2022 Bolt EUV and Redesigned Bolt EV in a captivating ad spot featuring visual effects by CoSA VFX. CoSA once again teamed up with renowned creative agency mOcean to combine the magic of Disney with the technology of Chevrolet’s new line of electric vehicles.
Working in close collaboration with director Greg Harrison at mOcean, Disney, Chevrolet, and Industrial Light & Magic from production to post-production, CoSA helped bring to life iconic characters such as Dumbo, Figment, and the famous hitchhiking ghosts. CoSA is proud to have had the opportunity to partner with these industry titans in creating this highly-memorable spot.
According to Head of Production Jeremy Moore, this primetime piece speaks to the caliber of the work and the caliber of the creative of CoSA VFX. “This is a AAA world class commercial with a lot of fun challenges,” he says. VFX Supervisor Tom Mahoney commends the CoSA animation team for great moments with character performance, and congratulates the whole CoSA VFX team as a unit for their excellent work on the project.
