The Digital Makeup Department at CoSA VFX was spotlighted in Variety this weekend as the trade publication spoke with VFX Supervisor Christopher Lance and Head of DMU Erik Bruhwiler about our global studio’s work on the new Lionsgate film The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent.
For the film, we worked on a wide variety of visual effects, with a notable highlight being our Digital Makeup work on the character “Nicky” (a figment of Cage’s imagination). In the interview, Chris and Erik speak more about the process of bringing the younger version of Nicolas Cage to the screen by utilizing the efficiency of our proprietary templating solution and AI-driven technologies used by the Digital Makeup team.
